Ava Shadmani

Ava Shadmani is an Iranian violinist and creative curator whose work bridges Persian musical lineage with contemporary collaboration. Through performance and curation, she brings together composers and performers whose voices reflect both tradition and modern expression.

She has performed across Iran, Europe, and North America, collaborating with a wide range of artists and ensembles. In 2021, Ava was awarded the David and Edith Sinaiko Frank Fellowship for Women in the Arts for Unheard Voices of Iran in the United States, a project highlighting folk-inspired works by Iranian composers and fostering dialogue across cultures and generations.
